Garage Floor and Common Area Carpet Cleaning

NOTICE OF BASEMENT & COMMON AREA CARPET CLEANING

FRIDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2020

Please be advised that the basement car parks of Bridge Point will be cleaned on Friday 11th September 2020. All items including vehicles, motor bikes, and motor scooters, must be removed from the open areas of the basement. This also applies to bicycles, boxes, furniture, toys & other goods stored outside of a storage cage.

It is anticipated that this work will commence at 8:30am and be concluded by 2:00pm. Accordingly, please ensure that all your items are either stored in your basement storage cage or removed from the basement, and all vehicles are removed from the basement by 8.00am Friday 11th September 2020.

Following completion of this work, no items other than vehicles may be stored in the basement outside of the designated storage cages.

The common area carpets will also be cleaned on Friday 11th September 2020, including the ground floor lounge and media rooms, and the carpeted landings outside the lifts on each floor. No interruptions are expected, but please be mindful that workers may be operating immediately outside your apartment for a short period of time.

The Executive Committee of Bridge Point apartments wishes to remind unit owners and residents of their responsibility to clean and maintain balcony drains.

Blocked drains can cause water to overflow onto balconies below, which may cause a nuisance for other residents and possible damage to property.

To All Owners and Residents

Following reports of increased criminal activity in the Kingston Foreshore area, the Executive Committee of Bridge Point remind residents to be vigilant at all times in terms of security, particularly in relation to vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians following you into the carpark.  

Residents are reminded not to leave access devices or valuables in their vehicles and to ensure bicycles are secured using the bike racks available in the basement.  While appropriate measures are in place to secure the basement, residents are reminded they are responsible for their own property stored within allocated areas in the basement.

The Executive Committee encourage residents to contact the ACT police on 131 444 to report suspicious activity, theft or violence.

Courtyard Painting: CHANGE OF DATE TO 14 JANUARY 2020!!

Please be advised that Greenway Painters will commence repainting parts of the central courtyard on Tuesday 14th January 2020, weather permitting.

Following completion, please contact our office as soon as possible if you believe any areas have been missed, so that arrangements can be made for the contractors to return within their warranty period.

It’s That Time Again! Notice of basement & carpet cleaning Monday 16 and Thursday 19 September 2019

Cleaning of the basement carpark is scheduled for 11.00am Monday 16th September, with expected completion by 3.00pm.

Please ensure that your vehicles and any personal items are removed from the basement by 10.30am to ensure the work can be completed as thoroughly as possible.

Any personal items must not be returned to the basement area following completion of the works, and should be stored in personal storage cages or off-site.

The common area carpets will be cleaned on Thursday 19th September – encompassing the ground floor lounge and media room, as well as the carpeted area on each lift landing in front of apartment entry doors. Only minimal, if any, disruption is likely.

Further to my previous email, please note that a sweep of the basement garage is scheduled for this Monday 18th March from 9.00am until approximately 3.00pm.

Residents – please ensure that vehicles are removed from the basement by this time (private garages excluded) to ensure a thorough job can be completed.

All personal belongings in the basement should be stored within resident’s storage cage or apartment, or stored offside.
