Free to Air TV Outage

Many of you may have noticed that the free to air connection for your televisions is not currently available.

The outage occurred yesterday and a technician attended but was unable to restore the connection.

We hope that the connection will be restored tomorrow – in the meantime, your connections to other apps and subscriptions such as iVew, Youtube, Stan etc should not be affected.

The Executive Committee is monitoring the situation and trying to restore the service asap.

IT’S ALL HAPPENING AT BRIDGE POINT: HERE’S A SUMMARY OF NOTICES YOU WILL HAVE RECEIVED RECENTLY

  1. FIRE DOOR INSPECTIONS: COMMENCING 17/5/21

FORM 1 fire contractors will be onsite from Monday 17th May -Wednesday 19th May 2021, to commence their annual fire inspections to ensure the Units front doors are fire rated and in line with the Australian Standards.
We kindly ask that you make yourself available for one of the dates below to provide access to your individual unit front door.
• Monday the 17th of May – onsite from 5.00pm – 8.00pm
• Tuesday the 18th of May – onsite from 5.00pm – 8.00pm
• Wednesday 19th of May – onsite from 5.00pm – 8.00pm

2. MARBLE MAINTENANCE AND RECTIFICATION: COMMENCING 17/5/21

PDA Marble & Granite will be onsite from Monday the 17th of May to the 10th of June 2021 to commence the rectification works to the marble facade.
Please refer to the work schedule attached the Signature Strata’s email of 11/5/21, in relation to specific days the contractors will be attending each unit.
We kindly ask that residents cover or protect their outdoor furniture to prevent any damage/dust and ensure no furniture is in the way for the contractors.

3. RECTIFICATION WORK – FINAL INSPECTION BY BLOC: 22/5/21

As part of the ongoing Slab and PT Pan Rectification works, resultant damages to balcony soffits and walls will be repaired. In relation to this, Bloc plans to perform an audit of potentially impacted units.

Bloc will be conducting the audit on a Saturday morning – 22nd May 2021. In an attempt to capture most, if not all, units involved in one session, Bloc representatives will be onsite from 8-11am and will be door knocking at units 9-41 inclusive. Bloc will require approximately 5-10mins at each unit to take notes and images of all resultant damages related to slab edge and PT pan issues.

Please understand that Bloc is inspecting only those damages that fall within the scope of the works (i.e. those that are related to slab edge and PT pan issues) and will not have time to examine other potential issues. The audit will cover: 
 –  Cracks and calcification to balcony ceiling/soffit 
 –  Damaged walls from scaffolding support points.

Once the audit is completed Bloc will be working to program repairs as soon as possible.

Please be present at the nominated time (8-11am on 22nd May) or, if that is not possible, make arrangements to enable access to your unit.

4. WINDOW CLEANING FOR INACCESSIBLE WINDOWS: 22/5/21

The pest control spraying was completed on Saturday, 8 May 2021.

Window cleaning for inaccessible windows is now scheduled for 2 weeks after i.e. 22 May 2021.

The 2 week gap between the two procedures is needed so that the pest control can be effective.

It’s That Time Again: Garage Floor Cleaning: Wednesday 17 March 2021

NOTICE OF BASEMENT AND COMMON DRIVEWAY CLEANING

Wednesday 17th March 2021

Please be advised that the basement car parks and common driveways of Bridge Point will be cleaned on Wednesday 17th March 2021.

All items including vehicles, motor bikes, and motor scooters, must be removed from the open areas of the basement and common driveways. This also applies to bicycles, boxes, furniture, toys & other goods stored outside a storage cage.

It is anticipated that this work will commence at 8:30am and be concluded by 1:00pm. Accordingly, please ensure that all your items are either stored in your basement storage cage or removed from the basement, and all vehicles are removed from the basement by 8.00am Wednesday 17th March 2021..

Following completion of this work, no items other than vehicles may be stored in the basement outside of the designated storage cages.

Garage Floor and Common Area Carpet Cleaning

NOTICE OF BASEMENT & COMMON AREA CARPET CLEANING

FRIDAY 11TH SEPTEMBER 2020

Please be advised that the basement car parks of Bridge Point will be cleaned on Friday 11th September 2020. All items including vehicles, motor bikes, and motor scooters, must be removed from the open areas of the basement. This also applies to bicycles, boxes, furniture, toys & other goods stored outside of a storage cage.

It is anticipated that this work will commence at 8:30am and be concluded by 2:00pm. Accordingly, please ensure that all your items are either stored in your basement storage cage or removed from the basement, and all vehicles are removed from the basement by 8.00am Friday 11th September 2020.

Following completion of this work, no items other than vehicles may be stored in the basement outside of the designated storage cages.

The common area carpets will also be cleaned on Friday 11th September 2020, including the ground floor lounge and media rooms, and the carpeted landings outside the lifts on each floor. No interruptions are expected, but please be mindful that workers may be operating immediately outside your apartment for a short period of time.
